Tiberiu Covaci started his developer career in 1991 but it wasn't until 1994 that he was introduced into the Microsoft world of technologies, via Visual C++ 1.5. In 1996 he started to move around the world, first from Romania to Sweden, where he got married with children, then to Bermuda, to leave the dream, then he moved back to Romania for a short period, and finally moved to Tenerife, to leave the dream. Again.
Now he works as a programmer/architect/dev lead/trainer/mentor with customers all over the world. As a trainer he teaches programming on all levels, but what he loves most is teaching introductory courses because it gives him a chance to influence the way future programmers’ thinks. He works closely with Microsoft, both as Subject Matter Expert for the MCPD exams, and Technology Reviewer in the Microsoft .NET courses. His passion for new technologies brought him the MVP award from both Microsoft and Telerik. He is a very popular speaker at conferences around the world, like TechEd, VSLive, NDC, DevReach, TechDays, Öredev, ScanDev, just to name a few. He is interested in technologies like multi-core programming, Microsoft Azure, ASP.NET, SPA, new programming languages and trends.
